I did not receive an email confirmation

When sending our e-mail confirmation, it is possible that the e-mail ends up in the spam box with some mail providers. Therefore, always check the spam box, or any other mailboxes. 

If the e-mail does not end up in the spam folder, it may end up in the Other folder. 

For Outlook and Hotmail accounts, it looks like this:
